Celebrate April Fools’ Day by watching one of several films that stars my grandmother’s old house!

Zook and Max in the Middle is now available at Midtown Comics (the one closer to Penn Station), Jim Hanley’s Universe (the one across the street from the Empire State Building), Manhattan Comics & More (formerly Cosmic Comics), Forbidden Planet, St. Mark’s Comics, Desert Island, and Bergen Street Comics!
I’d already known that Rocketship had closed last year, but only learned this afternoon that Cinders Gallery is under relocation. At Bergen Street Comics, the cover of Michael Kupperman’s Tales Designed To Thrizzle #7  caught my eye, so I flipped through it, amused by the “Quincy, M.E.” parody and surprised by the photocomic featuring Kate Hambrecht! I also didn’t realize (until I was on my way there on the Q) that the store was so close to the LIRR, so I took the train home from Atlantic Avenue instead of Penn Station.

I love how she wipes off the guitar pick on her coat. That’s my daughter!

My brother Terence Krey’s “Entwined” won best use of the Number Element (11:11) in the Celebrate the Web 5 festival. Congratulations, bro!

Now that R.E.M. has broken up, maybe they can pull a Zappa and start officially releasing their bootlegs, particularly this one from thirty years ago.

Too bad they cut the beginning where I plug my brother’s web series/feature film, my imaginary Zook and Max graphic novel, and suggest that Anthony & I would have dated if he didn’t smoke.
